SL91, E81 and E71 presented! - 29th July 2006
SL91

At first sight an exceptional design object, the BenQ-Siemens SL91 reveals its innovative sensor keypad, hidden under an impeccably smooth black surface, only when touched. Thanks to innovative sensory controls (Force Sensitive Resistor), the shapely slider mobile reacts to only slight pressure. Its smooth, gleaming surface feels like glass and makes touching it a sensory experience of the special kind. Nestling in the base station (Design Shell) that is supplied with the phone, the BenQ-Siemens SL91 becomes an extravagant eye-catcher for home or office. Futuristic light effects showing missed calls or SMS are sure to cause a stir.
“If I have only one phone in my life it would be the BenQ-Siemens SL91. Forget the home phone, forget the cordless, forget the laptop phone, forget the office phone! I need this little perfect utopic sacred object. The SL91 speaks of its sophistication of the most prescient technology but at the same time seems so peaceful, friendly, soft, engaging, as a beautiful extension of my hand. It looks and feels great, feels sexy, feels smart,” stated Karim Rashid, the internationally renowned designer who had the chance of an exclusive personal sneak preview.

Apart from exceptional design, the BenQ-Siemens SL91 also offers up-to-the-minute multimedia functionality. With the built-in 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, atmospheric photo shots and video recordings are easy to achieve any time of the day or night. A second VGA camera that can be directed towards the speaker during video calls is particularly well protected by the slider mechanism. When making video calls, you can look at your calling partner in 16.7 million authentic colors on the 2-inch QVGA mobile display – almost as if you were standing opposite one another. Picking up on the unusual design theme of the SL91, the stereo headset that comes with the phone affords mobile luxury for aural enjoyment when used with the mobile’s integrated MP3 player and stereo RDS FM radio. Music can effortlessly be downloaded directly onto the mobile from a PC via Bluetooth, via UMTS download or streaming. The BenQ-Siemens SL91’s internal storage capacity can be extended using Micro-SD memory cards. Together with the SL91, the base station is not merely a designer accessory that is guaranteed to cause a stir. It also turns the mobile into a portable stereo and can furthermore be used as a handsfree speech system for telephone calls or video conferencing.

A large selection of original accessories with Bluetooth technology, such as headsets or hands-free solutions for the car, can be connected to the BenQ-Siemens SL91 via Bluetooth.

With the mysterious appearance of the BenQ-Siemens SL91 design composition, BenQ Mobile is putting another premium product on the market that combines design innovations with state-of-the-art multimedia technology, thus turning mobile communication into an experience for the senses. The SL91 will be available in Europe from the fourth quarter of 2006. Prices will be determined locally.

Equipped with a media player for music and videos, a 1.3 megapixel camera with LED light and a 1.8 inch TFT color display (262,144 colors), this extremely small UMTS powerhouse measuring only 99.8 x 46.7 x 16.7 millimeters fits into the smallest pocket. With its high-quality glossy finish casing, the BenQ-Siemens E81 is a real eye-catcher and is very comfortable to hold because of its rounded shape.   AP75 Presented - 18th October 2005
by ZeeM
Siemens presented today the AP75. AP75 belongs to the low-range series and the only remarkable feature is that of bluetooth connectivity which is pretty range in the low-range sector.
Other than that, all the other features are pretty basic.

Siemens presented today the C72. It`s not much different than a C65 with the only major additions of a VGA camera and an e-mail client.
