EF81-Keypad problem-dials by itselfe

Hello!
I've just found my old EF81 and decided to give it a run, always liked that phone.
But when i turn it on, the keypad starts to dial by itself, i can't even input PIN because the phone is pressing all these numbers.
This happens only when the lid is opened, when I close it, it stops.
While I wasn't using the phone, the battery was removed from it, and it was stored on a dry place with no moist.
I removed the keypad, cleaned it up, but it didn't help.
I installed the new FW58, and it still has that problem, so I guess it's not a software problem, but hardware.
Is there a way to repair this?
Thanks!

I have opened it, removed the keypad, it was kind of moist, greasy and yellow, I cleaned that but it didn't help.
I think I'll just buy HTC Desire HD instead, but I really wanted to revive that EF81, coolest phone I've ever had, not the best, but definitly the coolest, very rare in my country.

maybe it needs a new keypad, rly dunno.
Or who knows, sometimes a software upgrade also solves weird problems but...
