hi guys
I were connected my phone ef81 to pc that suddenly the connection crashed then the phone hanged up when I turn it off and tried to turn it on again it just Shows benq-siemens logo and after a while before come to phone menu get off again
I think I should reinstall it's firmware but I don't know how
any help will be regarded

and how to install them when it's off?
but I see while turning on if you hold # it says entering to download mode
then the lcd freeze

While entering the download mode, the LCD just show the benq.siemens logo.
now, you need to proceed with the upgrade.

could I reinstall os via the cable included in the pocket and available os updates you gave me
I mean when it says entering download mode I should use the cable or another connection to pc?

3GSwup is the update program used by service centres. It can update your phone using the cable that came with it, and no other connection (including Bluetooth).

If the connection via cable get disconnected while updating, what worse could happen (it happens alot for me)?
is the update application included in the links you gave me?

If the upgrade get interrupted you can say: R.I.P. EF81, if we can't find a way to reload the FW back.
Thats why it is very important to perform upgrades with the battery totally charged, and using your computer after one fresh reboot, without internet or any king of software running.

So you do this:

1-> Download one upgrade from the links we gave you. The links have the firmware needed for your phone. all of them have english.

2-> Install it as a normal program on the computer, just follow the instructions. If it ask you to install and replace the existing USB drivers, if they are more recent, yes, you instal and replace.
The program does it by himself.

3-> Plug the phone to the computer by cable in the download mode.

4-> start the updater. Is just a matter to follow the instructions the program give, and most important of all, please, do not touch your phone until the program say it is complete.

5-> when all is complete, you can unplug teh phone.

Also, due a matter of precaution, i will not recommend yet the FW58 for you, but yes the FW43.
this is because sometimes the update with the FW58 give some problems that need one extra tweaking.

Also, I recommend you the usage of one "retail" or "brdhandel" version.

Do not use versions for vodafone, orange, tmobile, because those have network providers branding.

I ask you to tell me what language is important to you, then, i will recommend you one upgrade from the link that was given here.

hi sandstorm
while I was trying charge my phone
I see thet my phone turned on and wrote
insert sim!
I turned it off and insert my sim (i'm using awful samsung d820)
then turned it on ef81 turned on wrote turn the phone on?
i choosed yes after a moment I saw benq-siemens logo then turned off Crying or Very sad

then when I tried to charge it just the turns on again
and when I removed the sim and again tried to charge it just restats continuesly
then I used this trick maybe useful for you a day Wink

while restarting I removed the phone then the phone turns on and ask for sim
then I connect it to charger!
