Does anyone know how i add another T9 dictionary to my sisters EF61? I've tried everything that i could think of, even sending the one from my SL75 vi sms and bluetooth but no luck whatsoever. Cant seem to get into the phonememory with the software that came with the phone.

EF61 is made by BenQ and SL75 by Siemens.
You can't add t9 files to ef61.
did you noticed so many differences in ef61? like different keypad layout, horrible menus, completelly different os...? how you want a siemens t9 file to work on a pure benq made phone that even dont save new words to his t9 system?

Why can't i add T9? I realize that the EF61 is made by BenQ and The SL75 by Siemens - BenQ however sent me a T9 dictionary for the EF61 and told me to put it in the same directory as the other T9 dictionaries - Problem is i cannot get into the phones memory but only to the memorycard.

Yes i did - I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at - but feel free to elaborate as to why you feel that the keypad layout and the menu has anything to do with me getting into the phone memory.

I don't in particular (though i would'nt mind if i could just send the one i have on my SL75 to the EF61) - i want another T9 dictionary - preferably the one that i got from BenQ.......

Thank you for your reply - or something.........

you simply cannot add new T9 files to EF61.

What you say, say all.
How can you get into the phone memory, if those devices have locked internal memory?

All benq phones have locked memory for the final user... (excepting some 3G units running in brew, that requires special software not developed by benq itself)

Just by that point, you can see the incompetence from the BenQ staff, they can't give a correct support for their own phones, and thanks to them, we got it all messed up, and with the lost of our German division. Sad
