Hello !

I think that Siemens have done great phones, but I have serial problem now...

I bought cx70, which have T9 languages removed from memory. I downloaded siemens mobile control-software, and I make /system/T9 -folder to my phone & I transfered finnish T9-file in there.... at first everything looks great, it was possible to choose finland-T9 from T9 languages, but when I selected it, message: "wait..." appeared, and nothing happend after that...

So i booted my phone, but it wont start anymore, but only stays in "start the phone...." message.....

SO, is it possible (via usb-cable...?) to fix the phone ???? Now i have only infrared-connection, but i can bought usb-cable, if it is neccessary to get my phone ok...

you do not need to create that folder, and you need to have your windows set to see hidden system folders.
Also, the system folder is "System\T9"

you need one datacable, original DCA-510 preference.
you have to delete the 2 folders you created.

All cables that work on the M65 also work on the CX70. But, to be able to access stuff while the phone is off, a regular DCA-540 (doesn't have a "box" in the middle of the cable) doesn't work; only a DCA-510 (has the "box") does.

Yippii, finally i got my cable (original dca510) from internet store...
I deleted finnish T9 dictionary and replaced it with the file from my M65, and everything works great !!! Thanks again !!!

I think the lesson was that you cant play with only IR, if you wanna mod the phone got to get cable !!!

Now I tune my cx70 with the best skins and software....

Just don't forget to make a backup of the phone before tinkering with it, just in case things go wrong.
